I am trying out a new blog theme. I was getting bored with the peach background and design. So, I am trying this one on for size. Not sure how I like it, but, I will come back to it and work on it more later.

Aren’t you supposed to be studying for your professional exam?! Back to the books, young lady! *grin* (Hey, if you hadn’t stood behind me with a proverbial whip and chair, I wouldn’t have passed my exam.)

Yes, I am studying. Although today was not my best day. My excuse is pain. But, it is gradually getting more in control (saw my doc last week about it and he feels that the pain could be lingering effects from chemo and surgeries, he thinks it is worsened by the fact that I don’t get much sleep). As you know I am not a fan of pain meds, so I don’t take any. So my doctor decided to start with trying to treat the insomnia in the hopes that this could help with the pain. So far, i think he is onto something . . . I definitely feel a lot better and have a lot less pain when I have had a night’s sleep. I like his approach so far. Pluse, he listened to me and took into account that I don’t want to take drugs to mask the pain, I want to solve the problem behind the pain. Some of that is probably just going to be a time issue. But, sleep is a nice thing 🙂
Plus, trying to study without more than three hours of sleep is a lost cause. So, it is getting better. But, today just wasn’t the best study day. Tomorrow, however, i will get in a good solid day.
The blog re-do is simply pushing a button to apply the blog template . . . I don’t think I really care for this back ground all that much. But, I will come back to it later . . . after studying!
Feel free to crack that proverbial whip anytime . . . although I promise to put in a good day tomorrow!
